Yahoo Site Explorer gets a redesign

Everybody’s favourite link analysis tool Yahoo Site Explorer has a new look today.

Yahoo should be congratulated and praised for not only making this tool available but spending time to update it as well.

looks very nice
i use yahoo site ex alot for checking backlinks etc..

i have noticed aswell it works much quicker than before with seoquake for firefox
used to take ages to load up

The new design looks cool. But do you find any changes in the interface? I see that only the design part is played with.

Barry it might not be new but I use Site Explorer every day and I’ve never seen it before today.

I must have missed that SE Land post. :(

Hmm, maybe it was a beta redesign and now it is public. I see many discussing it now in the forums. So maybe it was a limited release…

Barry - the article talks about Yahoo! Testing it with Beta Testers at http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/new but Partick highlighted here was the public launch of their beta design. So it indeed is a re-design.. for public users (who haven’t tried beta version of their interface)

It was new for me when I tried it.. at first I thought it wa some CSS bug (wikipedia kinda lookish) .. but then understood it was a re-design. I liked the old UI much better though!

Chetan - how do you define Design & Interface? LoL?

That looks very good, I have not used it for quite a while and did not realise the new design.
