Update your link data in real time

by Patrick Altoft on / 3 responses

Danny commented that our link data seemed to be delayed by a few hours so we have decided to speed up the link crawling.

In the past we updated all our link data every 24 hours but we have now added a refresh button Refresh to the “Recent Posts” section of the site so you can refresh the link data whenever you like.

Is this a useful feature? How often do you think we should be updating all the data?

12 hours is a good idea to me but of course you don’t want to do it too often and put more stress on the server especially if its not necessary.

The refresh button is a good idea.
