Twitition lets you create, sign and share petitions on Twitter

by Patrick Altoft on March 5, 2009

Today we are soft launching a new site called Twitition which allows you to create, sign and share petitions with your Twitter followers.

Since it’s new I really need your help to get it started. What we need are Twitter users to sign some of the most popular Twititions or create some new ones.

Twitition

Sign a Twitition

Found a petition you are interested in? Simply add your signature by entering your Twitter login details and your signature will be added to the petition and a status update sent to your followers.

Create a new Twitition

Do you have a cause you are passionate about? Create a new Twitition and it will be broadcast to your Twitter followers. Think of an idea that people are passionate about and you could, literally, change the world.

Nice! I like it.
Although, I just tried it out and it is saying I signed the petition 8 hours ago….

I thought this was a great idea as soon as I saw the title of the post, so congrats to you and your team for being the ones to come up with it!
