Top 100 SEO Blogs

by Patrick Altoft on / 9 responses

Today BlogStorm has released the Top 100 SEO Blogs rankings.
This list was created by taking the top 1000 SEO blogs and calculating their traffic and link authority before reducing the list down to the Top 100 blogs. It will be updated every couple of days.

Hopefully I’ve listed everybody but if you have a blog that is about SEO and internet marketing please feel free to drop me an email.

Why?

All the other lists of SEO blogs seem to take PageRank into account. Since the SEO industry moves so fast it seems strange that a metric thats not been updated for 4 months should have any bearing on peoples rankings. Also with Google hand editing peoples PR its not going to be accurate when its finally updated.

What do you think of the list?

There’s already a top list that covers Internet marketing and that’s the one by 45n5. I think this list would be more valuable if you stuck to the SEO niche. Having the likes of ProBlogger and John Chow on a list of SEO blogs just looks out of place imo.

Caroline, John Chow and Darren Rowse are some of the best marketers in the world, the marketing principles they write about are what off site seo is all about.

Also the 45n5 list is good but its full of make money online blogs and doesn’t include most of the SEO blogs on my list.

Great job! I first search on any topic by adding top 10, top 20 or top 100 before the keyword. I am very happy to find all these great blogs on a single platform.

This is really useful for me thanks. My current Alexa ranking is over 5,000,000: Way off the mark! But on a positive note it gives me something to aim for and shows me what I need to do to get into that elusive top one hundred!
