The Google Suggest Alphabet

by Patrick Altoft on August 27, 2008

Have you ever wondered which terms are suggested first by Google Suggest for each letter of the alphabet?

Brady Forrest has and the result is the 2008 Google Alphabet.

Every time a user starts typing a word these lucky 26 brands will have their name flashing up as a search suggestion. My guess is their traffic is about to shoot up.

In a few weeks we´ll be able to see the results of Google Suggest on Google Trends for Websites.

In the travel sector, travel agency hotels.com will probably see a boost in traffic. Start typing h-o-t-e and Google suggests “hotel.com”!

Since there are a lot of high-traffic queries that start with “hote” (”hotel reviews”, “hotel rooms”, “hotel bookings” etc), my guess is that hotels.com will see a huge rise in traffic.
