Tech blogs don’t get much traffic, apparently

by Patrick Altoft on October 15, 2007

Jason shares some fun stats on the top tech/Web 2.0 blogs for September.

The thing that amazes me is that even though traffic for blogstorm.co.uk was down on the August record we still beat most of those on the list with a figure of 100,000 uniques according to Compete. Interestingly the real number of uniques was only 5,000 less than Compete is reporting so its pretty accurate for this site.

Just goes to show you how utterly ridiculous Compete’s stats are for it to say BlogStorm gets as much traffic as RWW with it’s 127K daily RSS subscribers. Nice bait though ;)

Compete gets the traffic for blogstorm and calacanis.com pretty much bang on though with their actual estimates.
