ProBlogger redesign goes for the wide look

by Patrick Altoft on / 4 responses

ProBlogger has had a redesign this week and makes use of a wider template, square advertising banners and a large footer section to keep the rest of the page relatively clutter free.

Firstly I would like to say that I love the design, it couldn’t be better as far as I can see. The old design was getting a bit tired and the new version will improve revenue dramatically I expect. The best bit is the removal of Adsense.

The only problem I spotted was the lack of a meta description tag on the posts, hopefully Darren will fix this before too long.

What do you think about the new design?

I like the overall look but I’m curious what others think about all the content in the footer. I’ve seen other themes like this but do these work? Do folks actually pay attention to this content?
