My uStats launches new stats widget for bloggers

by Patrick Altoft on / no responses

My uStats has launched an interesting new stats widget for bloggers.
The widget can be embedded into your site, to show and track your most important blog metrics. It takes 2 minutes to install and tracks Google, Yahoo, Technorati, Feedburner and Delicious.

It takes a few minutes to fetch your values, my stats are in the widget below. My CSS seems to be breaking the formatting at the moment.

My Micro Stats

I’m not sure how the Feedburner figures are updated, maybe they use OCR (Optical character recognition) to read the numbers from your feed counter?

Interesting but, point is, there are so many widgets right now there’s a moment where you have to stop Smile

Last one I saw was about embedding an iPod Widget where you could listen some music while visiting the blog…

I’m waiting till the day of the “definitive widget”: the one which will be able to sumarize any possible action you can require from a widget (clock, stats, technorati, RSS, people connected at the same time and so on Smile).

Till that day, let’s wait Smile

Your blog have a img tag css that have margins, this is the reason that the widgets looks broken. Maybe in another place (not in post layer) looks better.
For Feedburner values, probably you need to activate Feedburner Awareness API, in “Publicize” options of your Feedburner account.
