Digg has today unveiled some new social networking features. The most interesting feature I found was how easy it is to make new friends.
Visit a popular profile and you are faced with a load of AJAX buttons that you just have to click to make friends with somebody. Its that easy.
Previously Digg had a restriction so you could only add 4 friends in quick succession but this seems to have been lifted.
Other features include a small “Share” link under each story on the homepage. Clicking this brings up a box allowing you to “Shout” the story to your friends on Digg and email it to your non-Digger friends. The box doesn’t seem to work properly yet.
