Link Analysis Tool Version 1.1

by Patrick Altoft on / 7 responses

The link analysis tool has had an upgrade and you can download the latest version here.

Features such as PR, reliability and some other things have been fixed.

Please let me know if you have any problems. Just upload the files using ftp and overwrite the previous version and everything should work OK.

I seem to be getting a looping error – I’m 99% sure its the code rather than the Yahoo API. The first URL it encounters that it’s unable to pull back any links for loops on this:

Error getting link count for http://www.xxxxxxxxxx.co.uk/xxxxxxxxx.html

I stopped it after it had looped this error 993 times :)

Hi Patrick,

I’m not sure if this is a really silly question or not, but the download doesn’t seem to have a readme file included, and I’m getting references towards a tables.php page which isn’t included either.

I set the database up in any case, but every time I try to add a new URL I get the error “Column count doesn’t match value count at row 1″

Would you have any idea what’s wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

Colin

In short, no. I will do some more testing. The readme file just said upload the files and go to whatever folder you had uploaded them to.

Thanks very much, I’m looking forward to using it, I think it’ll give some really useful data.

Im getting the same error “Column count doesn’t match value count at row 1″ i’ve done some debugging, not much of a php expert myself, but i believe the issue comes from the parser.
