Keyword research the easy way

by Patrick Altoft on October 2, 2007

Al at Self Made Minds has an interesting post today going over the process he has been using to find good keywords to use this Christmas.

The one thing the post was missing is a link to the best keyword research tool available!

The Google Adwords Traffic Sandbox is a free tool that doesn’t require an Adwords account. Type in your keywords, leave the price estimate blank, add the countries you are likely to be able to rank in and click “Continue”.

Sat Nav searches

As you can see the data is pretty detailed and I assume its very accurate as its based on millions of peoples PPC ads.

I use this tool pretty much every day, does anybody else use it?

It’s a brilliant tool, Though it’s quite annoying it’s not integrated into the normal keyword tool. Led to a bit of a rant from me on my blog about it.

Thanks for the link and mention Patrick, I thought there was a free public tool I just couldn’t find it (doh) so cheers for the addition.
