Site Visibility (part of the AI Digital Group) are looking for a search marketing manager to join their vibrant team.

Reporting to the Operations Director you will be producing ethical and cutting edge SEO strategies to maximize search engine visibility for our high profile clients. You will also have some involvement in monitoring paid search campaigns, reporting on search performance and evolving our search marketing best practices.

Main Duties of the Post:

- Work closely with clients and colleagues to help develop tailored SEO and search marketing strategies
- Conduct keyword research and develop effective short and long tail keyword strategies
- Carry out extensive site-wide analysis to identify and resolve SEO issues.
- Conduct thorough client sector analysis to help expand and evolve content.
- Help increase client’s website prominence within topical web/social media communities
- Work alongside the Paid Search team to integrate natural search with paid search.
- Analyse campaign performance and devise appropriate actions for maintaining and increasing visibility.
- Conduct ongoing research into current and future developments in search engine technology and relationships to continually improve Site Visibility’s methodology and understanding of the search marketing sector.

You must have at least 2 years search marketing experience (with a heavy slant towards SEO) and have a real desire to become an expert in your field. You will need to be proficient in Excel and Web analytics and any knowledge of Web development will be a distinct advantage.

Job Description: Search Marketing Manager

Haven - a market leading UK Holiday Brand is currently looking for a Search Marketing Manager to join their team based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. This is an interesting role with the unique opportunity to develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies for the Brand. The role will also include supporting the Web Analytics and as such an understanding of analytics will be required.

The key focus of this role will be managing the PPC and SEO channels working with Agencies responsible for implementing campaigns to deliver the required targets and objectives.

As part of the role, you would be responsible for forging and developing internal and external relationships to maintain support for the channels you are responsible for. This should be aided by a clear understanding of SEM capabilities and good interpretation of analytics, as well as a good commercial understanding of direct to consumer marketing preferably within the Travel industry.

The role will be fully supported by specialist UK agencies for each individual channel, and, as a day to day function, it will be your responsibility to ensure that the agencies follow the strategic vision set by you and the Head of E-commerce, whilst hitting sales revenue targets in this fast paced but successful environment.

Skills / Experience:
Experience with SEO and PPC is a must, as is experience with web analytics. You must also have good technical skills and understanding of SEO and Google webmaster guidelines, with experience in and a full rounded knowledge of paid search theory and application. Potential candidate will also have experience in managing budgets. A broader understanding of cookies, redirects, server and URL configuration, would be a requirement for the role.

The ideal candidate for this role will primarily be a good communicator – a ‘people person’ who will build good long-term working relationships, both internally and externally, preferably coming from a competitive consumer environment, or an agency side role looking to discover the in house specialist arena.

Proof of a good understanding of consumer market forces and interpretation of consumer behaviour would further enhance your potential to be the successful applicant.

A competitive salary is being offered for the right person. Between £35k and £40K
