I notice that a number of people still don’t have avatars when they leave a comment on this blog and a number of other blogs too.
We use Gravatar to provide our avatars because it’s built into Wordpress by default and most blogs will be using this system in the future.
The process takes about 3 minutes if you have an avatar ready to upload.
You can get our blog posts delivered for free by email every day - simply add your email address to the box below or alternatively grab the RSS feed.

I use a photo as mine

Photo here, too. Suitably mucked about with.
For a moment you made us feel ‘kids’ with that ‘kiddish’ tip! Seriously do we need this post.. ha ha ?
Hmmmm lets see if it works

Lots of people without avatars so I figured it was a good idea to explain it.
More comments from Patrick AltoftI use Avatars on my blog, but I have them smaller, because I do not want to scare my readers. Not that I am suggesting you are Patrick!
Thanks for this post. I was signed up with Gravatar since I have a Wordpress.com blog but did not add the photo so thanks!

I love Gravatar. Such a cool app and it really is that easy to set up.
I kind of get irritated when blogs don’t have it installed.
Agree that it is annoying when people don’t have avatars! Makes the page look dull
Testing.
