How to get an avatar image on Blogstorm & lots of other blogs

by Patrick Altoft on October 21, 2008

I notice that a number of people still don’t have avatars when they leave a comment on this blog and a number of other blogs too.

We use Gravatar to provide our avatars because it’s built into Wordpress by default and most blogs will be using this system in the future.

The process takes about 3 minutes if you have an avatar ready to upload.

I just can’t be bothered. It’s hard to find something funny or interesting enough to use :)

Lots of people without avatars so I figured it was a good idea to explain it. :-)

I use Avatars on my blog, but I have them smaller, because I do not want to scare my readers. Not that I am suggesting you are Patrick! ;)

I love Gravatar. Such a cool app and it really is that easy to set up.

I kind of get irritated when blogs don’t have it installed.

Agree that it is annoying when people don’t have avatars! Makes the page look dull :)
