Today is the first day of Autumn 2008 and Google has changed its logo to celebrate.
Google also did this for the first day of Summer which didn’t go down too well because the UK missed out on Summer this year.

Noticed that today morning when I happened load Google and also saw LittleWoods Direct & Shopeeze taking the advantage of the term “first day of autumn 2008″ which Google links to from home page!

‘Its logo’ is perfectly correct. Tiny little thing like an apostrophe and it always gets butchered! You only put an apostrophe in the word ‘it’ to show you have shortened something like ‘it is’ or ‘it has’ etcetera.

Today the autumn equinox is officially the middle of Autumn, autumn is the 3 months surrounding this equinox, so Autumn officially started around August 6th or 7th and will end on around November 6th or 7th. If there were only 2 seasons, summer and winter, we would now be in winter. I like long clear nights but I don’t like the cold so I think winter is ok.

Today, it was delighted to see some changes in the weather outlook here in Dubai…temperature was below average and there was land breeze…and in coming days we can expect some more extraordinary changes Wx phenomena…promises to pour down some rain at the end of this month…and that will be a relief after this summer!
