How to create a Facebook clone
Facebook is apparently worth $10 billion which puts a value of $232 on each of the 43 million users.
How hard would it be to scrape 43 million user profiles, create a rival site and pay people $50 each to join?

Yes anybody can do that, but will you find somebody to buy that website from you? And also will the users act in a natural way, and use your service?
Building communities websites is the hardest thing to do online.

I agree with Blogstheme.com. How will you make sure that people will actually interact and participate in this type of social network? How can you prevent frauds or people from just cashing in and leaving. You would have to set a lot of rules that could turn potential legit users off.

Make a deal with the users. So if they behave for like 3 months they get paid. But still it would be impossible to have such good knowledge of what all of your members are doing.

There are many “community” sites out there with so-called large userbases but in reality I wonder how many of those millions of user accounts made by spammers, scammers, or fake ones put together by site owners? More than 50%?
Advertisers are foolish to spend a lot of money on community sites when a lot of traffic will be fake.
At $10 billion facebook is overpriced.
