Even The Queen Loves Google
The Queen has apparently become a big fan of the Internet and is planning a visit to Google HQ in the UK next month.
How long before Google.co.uk becomes the official Royal search engine?
The Queen, 82, who learnt to use a computer only two years also, was the first monarch to set up her own channel on the video-sharing website YouTube.
She now regularly emails all her grandchildren including Princes William and Harry and Zara Phillips. She has become so fascinated by the internet that she has ordered a major upgrade of the Buckingham Palace website which will boast more video footage and be made more user friendly.
When she goes to Google, the internet search engine, the Queen will be introduced to the staff who created the Royal channel on YouTube which allows users to upload and share video clips. She will also meet other people who have YouTube sites.
A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman said: “During her reign the Queen has always kept up to date with the latest technology. The visit to Google is another example and shows how willing she is to embrace new technology and change.”

How does “the Queen has always kept up to date with the latest technology” and “learnt to use a computer only two years ago” fit together?
Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, is wise to take Prince Philip with her since he is Park Ranger of both The Home Park and The Great Park at Windsor Castle. Recent publications in Windsor are announcing that Google satellite photography of The Home Park shows ploughed land of Clay Hall Farm is shaped as a Roman boot.
It must be nice that if you get the idea of visiting Googles offices, not only do they say yes, it becomes a national news story.
I would like to visit Google too.
The Queen is a big fan of the internet. I hear that she does all her own PHP coding, with classes and everything and Prince Phillip is a big fan of the internet for its ability to deliver pr0n.
Ha!
Great story. And we all know Phillip loves his Regina.
