How to do duplicate content TechCrunch style

by Patrick Altoft on October 24, 2007

I’ve just been trying to figure out how one of my clients managed to get a link across hundreds of pages on CrunchGear.

Check out these results and these ones for TechCrunch and you can see any trailing parameters that are added to the end of a post url cause the blog CMS to just show the homepage.

Great for anybody with a link from their homepage, bad for their rankings.
