BlogStorm on vacation here are some things to read

by Patrick Altoft on / no responses

I’m going to Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt tonight for a week so expect light posting until I get back depending on whether I can get online.

If you want to read some good content here are the best posts from when BlogStorm just started. Most new readers might have missed these:

You should try and get out to Dahab. It’s so chilled. About an hour through the desert from Sharm.

i was their in july was great!… try going to the old market it is something that you will probably never see anywhere else in the world…usually that kind of thing is not my cup of tea but to see someone lying down on a bed of nails with people from the audience standing on them (including myself) was just crazy and very cool at the same time….great to get some winter sun too….. also never pay the first price you get quoted on….you can usually get things for 1/4 of the price if you have the time to haggle….. also watch for the tricks they try to pull you into their shops by asking you to go into their shop to sign there guestbook, or take a photo… or for a cup of tea….. enjoy yourself…. its great and everyone is really friendly! also don’t take a bus or taxi to the pyramids it takes hours 8-9 hours (even although the drive is great! threw the desert) take a flight it only takes an hour….. also if you plan not to leave sharm don’t bother with a visa as you don’t need one…. unless you are planning to leave sharm… take £10 sapre for the visa if you do! ENJOY!
