Installed IIS7 on my computer but still not able to install this toolkit, does any one have the same problem?

I use the IIS SEO Toolkit ever couple of time I do an upload. You never know what mistakes you have made whilst fiddling about with you site. You can use it on any site it does not have to be asp.net or on IIS. If you want to feel good run it against a competitor.

Back in August I did a fairly large write-up of this toolkit. It looks like they’ve improved some. You do need to jump through a lot of hoops first before you can use the program – including the installation of IIS 7. Like Goosh says, most Vista computers (mine included) came with IIS but the version needed to update to IIS 7 in order for the toolkit to work.

This has apparently been available in Vista for quite a while.

You can access it through Control Panel -> Programs & Features -> Turn Windows Featurs On or Off –>Internet Information Services.

I didn’t know it was there but I was just told by a .net developer friend of mine who has been using it for around 4 months from within Vista.

Would love to see a post on IIS / ASP / .NET specific SEO issues. I’m plagued by them constantly, have fixed loads but there’s generally a lack of information out there on the topic so its always possible to miss a few.
