Announcing the BlogStorm SEO, Blogging and Web Development Job Board

by Patrick Altoft on / 2 responses

Recruiting talented web designers, SEO consultants, PPC consultants and bloggers isn’t easy in the UK, mainly because the recruitment industry is very fragmented. Putting an advert on the traditional job sites can attract applicants but as most of you well know – talented SEO’s are probably reading sites like BlogStorm every day rather than Monster.com.

Job Board

When we are recruiting for Branded3 the first question we ask is “What industry sites do you read to keep up with the latest trends?”. An applicant who applied while reading one of the industries most popular blogs would instantly have an advantage over an applicant who came via a recruitment company.

To help match up the most talented programmers, developers, bloggers and SEO consultants in the UK we have come up with the BlogStorm Job Board. Built entirely in WordPress it allows anybody to submit a job vacancy and lets applicants contact the employer directly via email.

Currently the system is free while we iron out any bugs – in the future it will become a paid service. Every week we will highlight the most recent jobs in a blog post and they are also featured in the sidebar (see image below).
